Zeitgeist - A MUST SEE!
The responses here are nice and diverse.
Light actually summed up much of what I would have to say about this flick.
What is interesting to me is that so little was said here about the first chapter.
Sure, 9/11 and the money issues are significant...
...but I was particularly interested in the evolution of human religion presented.
I am eager to see some progress in the belief systems of the world...
...and this aspect of the movie is certainly inspirational in regards to 'thinking for ourselves'...
...and not just believing things because others do...
...or because we are supposed to.

With this having been said, the following chapters of the movie are elite forms of underground information that - whether or not they are completely valid - cause us to question our governing forces.
This is, needless to say, a good idea - in my firm opinion.
I shared this link (zeitgeistmovie.com/) with everybody I know.
...lovers, haters, thinkers, zoners.
I don't discriminate when it comes to things of this nature.
Anyway, that is a little of what I think.
Hope it serves as a reliable review.

I can't recommend this documentry enough. One of the best things about Zeitgeist is that even if all the facts are compeletely wrong, it is still a very influential film in the fact that as it's most fundamental message is "do what humans do best, and that is think!" Use your brains and not just what other people tell you (such as the media). See if things you hear make sense for yourself and do alittle research about those topics instead of watching tv or drinking your weekends away. You will always be in absolute control of yourself. - Valgor , posted 02/09/08

Excellent movie
They really do a good job of making you realize how ridiculous it is to believe in "god".
They also do an excellent job of blaming the government for 9/11. Unfortunately I think they are correct - every war this century has begun with a false flag operation, and the war on terrorism is no exception to that rule.
I also learned a lot about the baking system. I had no idea it was that evil, but I am not surprised. - Alan , posted 01/25/08

Worth viewing, researching and seeing out answers for yourself.
Most of this information I was already familiar with and I felt it was well presented here.
Nice how the tie the different subject together in Zeitgeist.
It also appears as if the makers of the "Loose Change" Video (www.loosechange911.com/) and "The God Who Wasn't There" (www.thegodmovie.com) collaborated on this video; as I see clips from both movies in Zeitgeist. That and I believe the commentator of Zeitgeist is the same person as the Loose Change video. I have not researched this, but they do appear similar. Not that it really matters, if they wish to pull their resources I'm all for it.

I'd also like to thank Luke in the Tulsa, Zeitgeist post for posting this link:
video.google.com/videoplay
This video is VERY informative about the history of the Banking Industry and the Federal Reserve.

Banks, War, Religion...All tools to assist the faceless elite; those who truly rule this world.
Money, Power, Greed.
Sects, Flags, Countries, Borders, Laws, Nationality, Race - they're all lies and delusions of denial, precepts to make us believe there are respites from the heat of the desert. Things to gather around in unity, rather than being united by our common Spirit and Humanity. Things to separate us rather than unite us.

To the nay sayers, fine, believe what you wish.. But I put this forward... If you're SOOOO informed that you know SOOO much more than we do then put up, or shut up. Not that I'm censoring anyone, just if you have a contrary view - back it up instead of just posting pithy one liners.... Put a link here to support YOUR ideas, YOUR facts, YOUR Proof... Most people that dis these movies tend to write two sentences of banal comments with no proof to back up THEIR beliefs... Comments like "don't allow yourselves to be brainwashed by Propaganda" prove nothing.

Well, I for one am not someone who is easily swayed by Propaganda. Hell, if I was wouldn't I be falling in line with the lies coming out of Washington and the Press? I do my my research, from a variety of sources. I don't take anything at face value and I have some very informed friends and family around me. That's not to say that I know everything. But I do trust my Spirit as a higher source of information and awareness - and its Alarm bells have been ringing in my gut for years.

From what I could research Jet fuel would burn off too quickly and the remaining fire would not burn at high enough temperatures.
Jet fuel (depending on mixture) burns on average around 1796°F... Titanium melts around 3034°F.
Um.. what do Jet engines burn people? Jet Fuel at it's highest combustible state - for extended periods.

And how about this little gem from Popular Mechanics website "debunking" 9/11 myths
www.popularmechanics.com/techn...2.html

"Jet fuel burns at 800° to 1500°F, not hot enough to melt steel (2750°F). However, experts agree that for the towers to collapse, their steel frames didn't need to melt, they just had to lose some of their structural strength"
Right there Popular Mechanics STATES that Jet Fuel cannot melt Steal with it's 2750°F melting temp...
So again please explain why multi-ton Jet Engines made of Titanium and Steel alloys were supposedly melted to slag when Titanium melts around 3034°F.
And there have been several statements made my industry experts stating that the engine debris photographed did not match the engines that should be on the plane.

Something I was turned onto....
Very similar to all the Market manipulation mentioned in both the Zeitgeist and Money Masters videos.

and a contrary view (yes contrary) yet just as insidious if not more so.

So take it for what it's worth and believe what you want..
In the end perhaps it's not all true...
But some of it is...
And if some of it is, isn't that enough to show we're not getting the full story?
That OUR Government (remember they work for us) isn't being completely straight with us.
Isn't it enough to make you concerned? - LIGHT , posted 12/03/07

S'okay
It's okay. It's good for somebody who already knows about what is going on, or somebody who has never heard these things, but it covers too many broad topics without supplying enough compelling evidence to convince anyone who isn't already pre-disposed to believe these things.

I've seen many documentaries on these subjects, and there are more informative movies, such as "The Money Masters"
This is a good one to get started on. It's about three hours long, and it is told to us by a man who is very passionate about the subject. The evidence in the feature is very compelling and it is extremely thorough.

Add this to the fact that it happened before 911, and you will be able to see the connections to the present this guy makes.

Religion, Politics, Greed.

Excellent Eye Opener!!!
Very well made and put together... each chapter had moments that my jaw dropped. Yes, I think there's some sensationalism to it, and I still think it's a must see. Think of how many people are addicted to the lives of movie stars, partying, the me me me syndrone... it's time to wake up as human beings and take a look around at what's been going on.
Check out this less than 10 minute trailer: www.theshiftmovie.com
THAT, in my opinion, is what there is to be and do next!

QUESTIONS GOOD
I agree, there is some important pervasive thinking in this film that should be considered by the masses. After having shown this to more than a few "normal" people I've found that it has an insanely high success rate... as it seems the only way to communicate with the general population is in video-format.

Excellent
Zeitgeist is a very well-made and well-thought out film with some compelling information. Set aside the two hours and watch it- it's well worth it. - Jim , posted 11/18/07
